TV Character Makeup Issues

Here at MAC Cosmetics, we want you to look your best and feel your best.  We're on your team!  That being said, help us help you.  You can go anywhere to see what you should do with our makeup, but here are a few examples of what NOT to do.  

 1) Foundation Issues

Here we have a young man just going a LITTLE too hard here.  We think this guy loved our foundation a little too much, and while the red lipstick works, it isn't meant to go that far.  Unless maybe he meant to invent cheekstick, in which case we will hire him tomorrow.  Regardless, he looks surprised at
2) Eyeliner issues

Chris Jericho is one of the best in the world at one he does (as he tells you all the time).  What he isn't good at, however, is applying eyeshadow.  Maybe he was drunk, or maybe he took the Codebreaker too many times.....either way, the Gift of Jericho isn't makeup.  He missed the mark by just a lil bit.  May we recommend this little blue eyeliner here?  Would really make the eyes pop!  We here will stop picking on him, as we do not want to receive.......it.  #blenditinnnnnmannnnn

 3) Foundation issues

Ms. Addams, while awesome, could use a bit more liberal application of one of our foundations.  We get it, though.  Daytiming is hard, and sometimes you just don't want to leave the house.  Thankfully, ordering our products online is quick and easy, and comes with free shipping!  You won't even have to answer your door.....you can just grab it at night and avoid pesky sunlight if you please!

Analysis of Political Cartoons

From the early days of Benjamin Franklin to today, politically inspired cartoons have been a staple of newspapers worldwide. Their goal is not just to entertain you, their goal is also to prove a point. The cartoons are either a form of social commentary, as well as serving as an advertisement in some cases. The earliest known political cartoon came from the aforementioned Franklin, published in the Pennsylvania Gazette back in 1754. “Join or Die” shows a snake cut up into pieces, and it’s goal was to unite the existing colonies against British rule. this was considered edgy in those times Here are two other cartoons that are just as good, if not better. My first choice of cartoon from Patrick Chapette of the New York Times, and it depicts President Trump and Vladimir Putin. It is poking fun at President Trump’s friendly relationship with the Russian leader, and subtly making the point that Trump finds Putin a bit too trustworthy. When it comes to choosing a news story that has been covered extensively, I didn't have to look far.  The drama unfolding in the confirmation hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh has captivated both myself and the rest of the nation.  You cannot avoid the circus if you tried.  I scoured the internet to find five photos that captured the drama and emotion of everyone involved, from the participants to the protesters to the press. THE SCENE SETTER I chose this photo instead of others for two reasons, the perspective and the color.  It is the only picture I could find that showed the actual room that the hearings were in, and most people had no idea what the room looked like before.  It shows the main character in this "story", Brett Kavanaugh, in black and white, thus raising the drama levels ten-fold.
